We had a lovely stay with our family and furry friend in the King Room with Garden View. The bedding was fresh, the homemade treats were delightful, and the setting was perfect for morning coffees while enjoying the beautiful garden. It was really relaxing!

My kids wished there were more activities for them to enjoy. A little play area would have been great for families traveling with children.

The room offered a fantastic view of the garden, which was truly refreshing. Extra touches, like homemade cake and fresh milk in the room, made my stay special.

Bowness-on-Windermere was a culinary dream! Porto Restaurant had the best pasta, while Villa Positano served mouthwatering pizza that made me swoon. Nick was a gem of a host, always surprising us with homemade cakes and the comfiest bed ever. I'm still dreaming of those baked goods!

The access was a bit steep, making navigation a challenge, especially for those with limited mobility. Our room was chilly when we arrived, but the owner promptly sorted the heating on the second night, making things cozy again, though the public areas could've used some love.

I was enchanted by the exquisite William Morris wallpaper throughout the common areas, which added a lovely touch of elegance. The well-maintained paths in the gardens made it easy for me to stroll and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

A few more grab rails would improve bathroom safety.
